WINDHOEK (Agencies): Jordan Hermann struck a career-best 53 to help South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 48 runs in the Twenty20 International tri-series final in Windhoek, Namibia on Sunday. After electing to bat first, South Africa posted a massive 205-5. Hermann`s 29-ball innings included eight fours and one six. Hermann, who earned the player-of-the-match award, was dismissed after miscuing a Brad Evans delivery, which allowed Ryan Burl to make a catch at long on. Zimbabwe, who lost twice to South Africa in the league phase, did well to reach 157 in 18 overs after losing four wickets off the first 23 balls. They were 81-8 before Evans hit out, slamming four sixes and four fours in an unbeaten 56. He put on 52 runs for the ninth wicket with Kundai Matigimu (19). An experimental South African side, missing resting Temba Bavuma and injured Kagiso Rabada, now play Namibia in three One-day Internationals from Wednesday.
